Men's Category 3 On a wind blown day that saw no sustainable breakaway last more than a lap. Trocadero was able to score it's first win!! The group stayed together throughout the race...the plan was to react and to try to counter when possible. We also wanted to try and isolate the two leaders on GC in the WCA...not give them any more points than possible.
On the last lap Chris drove up the inside HARD...so hard in fact,
that Jack was the ONLY one to get on his wheel on the front, Casey being caught a little off guard was third wheel trying to hang onto the choo choo that was haulin! I had a great vantage point at the back to watch the last corner and sprint. Chris, Jack and Casey drove the corner and Chris accelerated to give Jack the perfect lead out, Casey holding on for 6th and I think Scott was 7th. Mantel holding on for 14th. Jeff, don't know where you were, top 20, I think. Great team effort, finally, getting something right...cheers Casey!! Nice job to the 3's for humpin...
